It all started in Columbus, where fate (and a little help from mutual friends) brought us together. Jacob had just moved to town, and through Jensan’s roommate and his old high school friend, we met in Jensan's college apartment—and instantly hit it off. From that moment on, we were inseparable, spending every summer day together and making memories that felt like a lifetime packed into just a few months.

But life had BIG plans. As summer came to a close, Jensan left for a year in Egypt. Most couples might have let the distance pull them apart—but we did the opposite. That summer had sparked something special, and we spent the next year 8,000 miles apart, building a one-of-a-kind relationship over FaceTime, texts, and long-distance love.

When Jensan came back, there was no hesitation—she moved right in. From there, we dove headfirst into life together, breaking two leases back to back—first to move to San Francisco, then to Austin—with our dog Mac along for the ride every step of the way.

Eventually, life brought us full circle, back to Columbus—the place where it all began.
